Glynmeddig Barn is the perfect venue for your family holiday, reunions & celebrations or simply as a place to get away to for a short break or holiday in this unspoilt area of Wales. We are ideally based for an activity break with a range of activity providers who can offer exhilarating and fun experiences for all abilities.
Originally stables & a hay barn Glynmeddig now offers a wonderful living space for groups on holiday – room to all eat together, space to sit down and catch up with each other and a great games room for entertaining the children in….or indeed the adults too!!

Additional Information
The main room is magnificent with the ceiling open to the rafters –the dining tables seat 20 and there are three large comfy sofas for relaxing on. Heated by under floor heating & a wood-burning stove the room is always warm and comfortable. The kitchen has a large commercial size cooker, microwave and 2 fridges with a further fridge and a freezer in another building. Catering for 20 is not a problem at Glynmeddig as there is plenty of crockery, cutlery, dishes and cookware for all your catering needs. Should you want to be spoilt we have a couple of caterers who can either deliver a choice of pre-prepared dishes or will come and serve a whole meal for you. For those balmy summer days there is a BBQ on the south facing terrace just outside the dining area. For those days when it is not so balmy outside (few in Wales of course!!) we have a games room with table tennis, a small pool table and table football.
Although we hope you will have other things to do there is also a TV and DVD player as well as WiFi in the games room. Glynmeddig has eight bedrooms sleeping up to 20 people – check out our virtual tour. We make up the beds for you – you just need your own towels. There are three separate shower rooms as well five lavatories. The shower room on the ground floor is equipped for disabled use. We have a small utility drying room (wet clothes in Wales …surely not!) with a large washing machine that has hot water pipes, under floor heating and a dehumidifier.
There is also plenty of space in our other barn for hanging out wet gear, storing bikes and other activity holiday gear! Our dog Zulu is very happy to share his territory with visiting dogs but we do like to know in advance if dogs are coming…. they are cheaper to bring than your children – just £10 per pet for the duration of your stay!
