What does the booking price include?
The price you pay includes – the hire of Glynmeddig which is normally from 2pm on a Friday – either for a week or a weekend. If you have a weekend booking there is normally a flexible ‘kick out’ time on the Sunday. The barn has underfloor heating upstairs & down and a wood burning stove in the main room – we supply logs. The beds will be made up, shower mats and hand towels are provided but you need to bring your own towels. Loo rolls, bin bags, washing up liquid, basic condiments are all on site.
Does Glynmeddig accept dogs?
Yes, we do accept dogs on the proviso that they will not be allowed to run free in the surrounding fields which are home to our neighbour’s sheep! We have our own dog, Zulu who is used to visiting dogs. We charge £10 per pet and respectfully ask that you clear up after them.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes there is a large, ‘split beer keg’ BBQ – you will need to buy charcoal although their is often supplies left by other groups.
Is there parking at Glynmeddig?
There is plenty of parking for 12 cars.
What is the total Glynmeddig sleeps?
Glynmeddig sleeps up to 20 people in 8 bedrooms. There is the possibility of a couple more if it is children sharingthe double rooms with their parents. Two of these rooms fit a travel cot in them.
Is the kitchen well equipped?
The kitchen has a large cooking range, 2 fridges and a freezer as as well as another fridge in the outside barn. There are two sinks but no dishwasher. We are used to providing for group accommodation and there is ample crockeryand cutlery for 20 plus as well as plenty of dishes, pans, trays to cater for your party. What are the bathroom facilities?
Glynmeddig has a disabled loo and shower facility plus two further lavatories on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two shower rooms and two separate lavatories.
What laundry facilities are there?
There is a large American style top loading washing machine…and a washing line outside for drying!
